Denver talks about the Lakers
Ian the Roadie talks about the Heat and Celtics

We understand Denver needs to use every motivational tactic possible to galvanize themselves as the Nuggets enter games No. 96 & 97, however, this is a little much.
Part of the relief of watching NBA games is the escape from sports coverage. It is why many of us watch parts of the broadcast with volume muted, we’re not here for exposition or a bit or a potboiler, we’re watching this contest for something new, something we haven’t seen before. Not opinions on old shit that already happened.
Yet, after long and thoughtful consideration, all I can think of is Michael Malone, moaning about what I put in my pipe.
First, all Michael Malone did after Game 1 was talk about the Lakers and Rui Hachimura guarding Jokic and Darvin Ham’s red pennies. The fuck is a red penny.
Secondly, I’ll also have Mr. Malone note that after Denver’s Game 1 conquest I only discussed the Mark Jackson-for-Vincent Askew deal from Feb. 1997.
