KNICKS

Prediction: 49-33, tied for No. 4 in the East
Actual: 50-32, No. 2 in the East

What went right: The front office. On the Knicks!

Knicks kept falling, New York’s front office (the Knicks!) added better players. More Villanova helpers, Isaiah Hartenstein when nobody was looking, OG Anunoby after every team called Toronto. The Knicks lost an All-Star and a prized starting center and didn’t look back, they had no reason to, their coach wasn’t calling them out of the game.

C: Isaiah Hartenstein — Knicks are a better (top seven!) offensive team than defensive club and Hartenstein’s dishin’ and swishin’ is a large reason why. Also dishes a few turnovers, but you’d also want to pass the ball to Matthew Modine if given the chance.
