Nothing, sadly, is news in Philadelphia until we see Joel Embiid healthy in April, May and June. It doesn’t matter what his supporting cast is.

Adding Paul George to the Sixers does not create a champion in Embiid’s absence, and it isn’t strong enough to overcome Joel’s typical NBA routine: Embiid’s strong start, midseason injury, and rush return to a stiff postseason loss.

I’ll only be moved by the Sixers when they announce a regular season break for Embiid, rather than attempting the same strategy yearly and expecting his knees to respond differently each time.
