NBA playoffs, good stuff

Denver 112, Minnesota 97

Nuggets lead series, 3-2

Did Nikola Jokic take Game 5 personally? Is he a bit sick of being disrespected by the NBA’s biggest mouths? Feels like he hasn’t received the recognition a three-time MVP should be warming to about this time in a three-MVP, one-title-and-more career?

Or does he just want to keep playing basketball? That’s the edge I’m watching, someone who isn’t entirely pleased with the way his title defense has gone, deciding to do something bombastic, if not desperate, to put the momentum back where it should be. Momentum not fully in Denver’s favor, Minnesota is too good to expect to lose four consecutive contests, but enough to make a four-game flush rightful, reasonable, and not extended evidence of Minnesota turning down the tubes.

This was the fifth game in ten days between the team, of course Jokic would spot his lanes. Would he act quickly enough to do something about the images in his head?
