The Knicks are down to six players. The Farmboys are enraged. Matthew Modine caught a loose ball. T.J. McConnell heckled a heckler over the heckler’s “receding” hairline and was benched by Rick Carlisle for the rest of Game 2, unrelated we think, prior to Carlisle’s ejection and stiffened screed over what Rick believes is an NBA conspiracy to keep whistles away from small market clubs.
I hope you enjoy the Pacers and Knicks as much as I do, between injuries and yearlong suspensions I’m not sure how much of these franchises will be around after this series. I similarly hope it goes seven.
And it should go seven. Why wouldn’t it? We deserve it, the year we’ve had, the price of oatmeal, two-liter bottles which feel only 1.897 liters. I’m not getting any stronger, it shouldn’t be easier to lift this bottle of seltzer!
