Pacers land Pascal Siakam

Siakam is off to Indianapolis in a three-team swap, according to Woj, Toronto secures Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora, and picks in exchange for the two-time All-Star. The Raptors also get Kira Lewis Jr. from New Orleans.
Pascal Siakam is a free agent this summer and turns 30 before the playoffs begin, so the Pacers sent 2024 and 2026 first-round picks to Toronto, not one of Indiana’s budding stars or formidable young role players. Oklahoma City’s 2024 first-round pick, which Indiana owned the rights to, also heads to the Raptors.
The Pacers are tied for the No. 6 spot in the East with New York, the Knicks already made a move and may have others on the horizon. Indiana needs a half-court scorer, plus the Pacers were awfully sick of watching dutiful forwards like Jerami Grant have ways with either shoulder, all over the Indiana frontline:
