Simply having a wonderful NBAtime

The NBA isn’t really an NBA right now. It isn’t the fault of the replacement players — Wes Iwundu is still better than anything else on television — only the fault of everyone you went to high school with for declining life-saving vaccinations. Thanks a lot, Jeremy Beauchamp, class of ‘94. Way to chip in, Jennileigh Claritin, class of ‘06.
The rest of you deserve cheer.
DETROIT’S BACKCOURT
The Pistons have the worst record in the league and its last two Big Time-o draft picks are mostly to blame. Killian Hayes shoots 34 percent from the field, down from 35 percent last season. Dalano Banton’s doubled-up Cade Cunningham in rookie Win Shares, who does Dalano Banton play for.
However: Hayes and Cunningham are learning to play basketball together, at an age (20!) when the brain is super, super hungry. We’re not just stacking blocks here, and that’s exciting. Don’t give up early, round slow.
